About Alex
Alex was born to the swamps and pines of north Louisiana in 1995. Since he attained literacy his parents encouraged his habit of devouring books whole regardless of the consequences to their wallets. Soon he dreamed of crafting books of his own and, rather than enter the family business of academia, resolved to write full time one day, unleashing a slew of plays, short stories, poems, and bits of novels on his unsuspecting schoolmates. This, of course, made him extremely popular. When he came of age, he enrolled in Northern Arizona University and received a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Certificate in Literature in 2018 with minimal amounts of blackmail and coercion of school officials. He is currently enrolled in Denver University’s Master of Arts in Creative Writing program. The rituals he performs to placate the hoary Dark Gods of Academia appear to be working as he’s set to graduate in 2026. He lives in Denver with his partner/assistant Graham and his cat Yidhra, where he works to bring martial arts and self-defense to vulnerable communities.
